Can I say I love Farrow and Maximoff?! There I said it!! I am absolutely infatuated and in love these two men, their journey, their love story, their lives ... their all.
In Lovers Like Us , we see a lot more of their unique relationship and what binds them together . I love how protective they are of each other , their witty banter and how much they trust each other without losing sight of who they are as individuals. I also enjoy the hints about future coupling between the cousins and the bodyguards .
The layered Word that Krista and Becca Ritchie have created around these characters is three dimensional, sophisticated ,memorable , vibrant and astonishing. I feel , I know these characters , that they are part of me as I am of them.
As is the first book Damage Like Us , I liked the voice actor who played Maximoff a lot and this time around Farrow's voice actor did a better job playing his part. He gave more feeling and meaning to his part than the previous book.
My 4 star rating is due to the few issues with this story . Even though, I should exercise willing suspension of disbelief they drama with the stalker posting death threats and not having the police and FBI involved is a far fetched. Laws are very serious about that sort of things.
Also , for being so wealthy , they don't have the staff needed to handle all their needs , same goes as the bodyguards. You can not work 24/7 , there are labor laws . Like I said before, I might be nitpicking and I am more than willing to let all this go and chalk it as the authors creative licence .
Overall , it's a entertaining , colorful , humourous , original and passionate read / listen . With an incomparable world building and magnetic and unforgettable heroes .

I am Hook, Line and Sinker with Maximoff and Farrow and I am looking forward reading/listening to Alpha Like Us next book in the series. - Tell me your experience of this book if you haven't read the Addicted series and known the Hales, Cobalts and the Meadows for twenty years.
The Like Us series is so much special for all the fans that have loved the Hales, Cobalts and Meadows since years. We have seen them in their early 20s and throughout their 10 books, we have seen them in their early 40s.
The Like Us series begins with Maximoff Hale (The Eldest Hale Son, who we have known for almost 4 books in the Addicted series). And seeing him fall in love with someone makes it extra special for me.
It is a known fact among the KB Ritchie fans that their first book of any series is a "Setting up the Plot". THE MAIN FUN BEGINS WITH THE SECOND BOOK
Lovers like Us was such an AWESOME BOOK. It was by far the funniest book of the entire series. We see the love between Moffy and Farrow grow, and we see them facing different/never-ending obstacles in their life. After the debacle of the last book, the eldest kids decide to go on a ROAD TRIP...
YES.
A ROAD TRIP IN A BUS. 5 COUSINS. 6 BODYGUARDS.
There were funny moments, emotional moments, tense moments, moments where you melted into a puddle of Goo..!!.
One of the best things about these authors is the way they capture the little moments. Their books are made of the everyday life and the little things that makes us want to be in their world with the favorite characters. Their writing puts so much of life in their characters, that you start knowing them, understanding them even when they don't explain it to you. Every book of this author is almost 400-500 pages long, and YOU ALWAYS WANT MORE..!! It is their beautiful writing that keeps you hooked to this world and never come out of it. Every character is so relatable that you cannot but enjoy these books to fullest.
So if you haven't read this series, then GO AHEAD PICK IT UP..
And if you truly want to experience the beauty of what I know is THE BEST ROMANCE SERIES IN THE HISTORY, PICK IT UP FROM ADDICTED TO YOU, AND STICK WITH THESE CHARACTERS FOR THE TEN BOOKS.

What does Alexander Cendese and J.F. Harding bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I know I say this about most narrators, but these 2 really brought Farrow and Moffy to life! They were great about bringing all the emotion and depth to the characters that I loved.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes! I want to know what's happening next and it's always hard to turn off when my drive to and from work is over. I have a hard time concentrating when I'm listening at home so I normally don't, but I *needed* to finish the last few chapters of this one over the weekend so I made myself really focus!
Any additional comments?
I love Moffy and Farrow so much! I think this was a great series for me to choose to listen to before I read it, which is what I normally do (read before listening that is). It’s really brought these characters to life and I can just picture everything in my head as it’s happening.
